Sanna Karsson-Sutisna, tanssi – ja kuvataiteilija, Taiteen maisteri (opiskellut Berliinin taidekorkeakoulussa 84-85 ja Suomen kuvataideakatemiassa (yhdistäen tanssia ja kuvaa -85-89, ja-99) ja TEAKIN tanssitaitenlaitoksella 1996. Jo lapsena hän sai oppia taiteilija isältään, käyden hänen kanssa maalaamassa maisemia ja piirtämässä elävää mallia ja äitinsä tanssikoreografioissa. Hän on johtanut myös 3- vuotista Eu projektia taidetta alle 3-vuotiaille Suomessa 2003-2005 Hän on sekä STSL ja TML :n jäsen.
As a versatile artist, Sanna Karlsson-Sutisna,
Master of Fine Arts (studied at the Berlin School of Art 84-85 and at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts 85-89, and -99),
has brought visual and dance art to everyday life and to museums, galleries and performance Festivals, Thetres and streetavenues for more than 30 years.
She is a well-known and well-liked artist for her many public works: “Flower of Life” art parks in Helsinki and France for toddlers and for other numerous Public works in Germany,
Tammisaari mental hospital, Helsinki Railway Station… She has combined images, sculpture and dance to suffuse her performances with ritual form and multicultural elements,
enriching Finnish art and everyday life. As an example 2010 she conducted a wood carving installation and performance as well as a painting dance workshop for the Africa exhibition at the Emma Modern Art Museum. In 2011 he was featured in a large line-up at Mänttä Fine Arts Weeks.
Her expert knowledge of Balinese and African culture & dance add depth and conviction to her work. Since-79 she had numerous solo-and group exhibitions,
dance performances in Finland and abroad: Germany, Denmark, Russia, Sweden, Austria, Poland, England, Indonesia,USA & Cuba.
Her works are part of both public and private collections. She danced with Cris af Enehielm, Joaquin La Habana, Anzu Furukawa, Ulla Mirsch-L, Sojourn, Kuopio Dance Festival…
